What is a Wall Hung or Wall Mounted Headboard?

A Wall mounted or wall hung headboard is exactly as it sounds, a headboard designed to be fitted onto your wall to give your headboard a floating look. This is achieved by using wall mounted fixings and brackets on the back of your headboard. The advantage of choosing a wall hung headboard over a conventional headboard with struts is that you are able to choose a taller headboard, ideal for those looking to make a statement in their bedroom. Regularly used by boutique hotels, a wall hung headboard can be purchased in a number of fabrics, perfect for matching up your existing bedroom furniture.

Whilst not all headboards are available in this style, we have many headboards where you can now choose to have your headboard delivered with wall mounting brackets allowing you to fit your headboard straight onto a wall rather than onto the back of your bed. This solution is great if your bed is unable to fit struts or the headboard you choose is just too tall for struts.
